I’m Roxanne Cooke, a writer and photographer based in Tacoma, Washington. I also work as the senior production editor for The Data Warehousing Institute in Renton, where I edit and manage the production of IT-related publications.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in communication with an emphasis in journalism from Pacific Lutheran University, and I minored in printing and publishing arts. I’ve worked as a reporter and photographer for The Herald, Nisqually Valley News, The Peninsula Gateway, and Federal Way Mirror. I’ve also been a photographer for PLU.
I live in Tacoma with my sweet husband Ian. When I’m not wielding a red pen, camera, or laptop, I enjoy baking, scoping out local cupcake shops, and traveling.
Feel free to contact me if you’d like to be a part of my photog interview series, or simply if you want to connect!
