Hi! I’m Roxanne Cooke, a freelance writer and photographer based in Tacoma, Wash.
By day, I’m the senior production editor for The Data Warehousing Institute in Renton, where I edit and help manage the production of IT-related publications.
By night and weekend, I put down my red pen and pick up my camera. I hold a bachelor’s degree in communication with an emphasis in journalism from PLU. I’ve worked as a reporter and photographer for The Herald in Puyallup, the Nisqually Valley News, The Peninsula Gateway, and the Federal Way Mirror. I’ve also worked as a photographer for Pacific Lutheran University.
I live in Tacoma with a sweet guy named Ian, who designed this website. When I’m not wielding a camera, I enjoy baking, scoping out local cupcake shops, and traveling.
Feel free to contact me with assignments, feedback, or simply if you want to connect!
