Food, drink, travel. Summer. Those are the patterns I’m seeing in this set of recent Instagram photos.
That delicious-looking dish has seitan (veggie “meat”) with noodles, veggies, and peanut sauce, and it’s from Araya’s Place. I decided to give them a try after our favorite Asian vegetarian restaurant in Seattle, Teapot Vegetarian House, closed its doors. I wasn’t disappointed (though Araya’s is Thai, not pan Asian like the Teapot).
The beautiful cocktail with berries is called “The Hummingbird,” and it contains St. Germain, sparkling wine, and club soda. It’s the cocktail of my dreams, basically, and I hope to replicate it soon. Why didn’t I know about St. Germain sooner?
I’ve been lucky enough to see some great sunsets, both in the Seattle area and San Diego, where I traveled for work at the end of July. The kitties naturally got curious about my suitcase when I came home and started unpacking.
Now it’s time for some house projects, including rewiring, new light fixtures, and painting!
