San Diego is lovely. I spent most of this week there for work, helping out at one of my company’s big IT conferences. It was my first time in the city, and I can see why people say it’s the perfect climate. It was never too hot (though I didn’t get outside much!), but always sunny. The evenings were cooler and sometimes breezy, but always warm enough to dine outside—a fun change.
From my hotel room on the 11th floor, I had a great view of the bay. I didn’t bring a tripod, but I did my best to get a panorama (excuse the curtain reflections!). The night view was cool, too. I’m a sucker for city lights at night. If you look closely at the night photo, you can see a giant “41” below the blue and red lights. It’s not a bridge, which is what I thought at first. It’s the USS Midway Museum.
