With a wide variety of sweet and savory crepes, a lovely downtown location, and interesting local art on the walls, Savor Creperie is a place you’ll want to return to. I should know—I’ve already been three times.
Everything at Savor just tastes fresh, and there are so many different things to try, which is why I keep going back. Have a savory crepe for lunch, then share a sweet crepe for dessert with your dining companion. (Unless you’re me and you want one all to yourself!)
Pictured, top to bottom: Banana, toasted coconut, and Nutella crepe; crème de coconut with mango lime sauce crepe; and bittersweet chocolate whipped cream with mocha sauce crepe.
My favorite of these three is the crème de coconut. Tropical flavors in a crepe may sound unusual, but it’s so light and fresh. The Nutella one is a close second. I like how the toasted coconut provides contrast to the creamy Nutella and bananas. The bittersweet chocolate crepe was extremely decadent and rich, so it was difficult to eat much of it (not really a knock against it, just something to be aware of).
Just a brief note about the savory crepes: they make an excellent breakfast, lunch, or light dinner, and there are quite a few vegetarian options, including an amazing maple roasted butternut squash crepe. They also have crepe scrambles, liege waffles, and gluten-free options.
